Easy Recipe for Working Wives & Moms: Oven Baked BBQ Spare Ribs

For working wives or moms like me, managing time is one of the hardest thing to do.
After a hard day's work, we still need to fix a dish for the family.

Here's a recipe that I want to share with you guys.
It will only take about 10 mins to prepare and 1 hour to bake and voila! The food is ready.

Initially, I thought of making my own version of Spare Ribs Sauce to marinate the pork overnight.
However, after not being able to find one ingredient that I need, I ended up buying a ready-made spare ribs sauce.

I tried it out last night and the sauce really tastes good. The taste is similar with my own version of Spare Ribs Sauce.

What you will need:

1.5 kgs Spare Ribs

6 tablespoons of Lum Kum Kee Spare Rib Sauce

Procedure:

1. Coat the ribs with the Spare Rib Sauce and marinate it overnight.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. Place the marinated spare ribs in a baking tray and bake it in 30 mins and turn the meat over to bake for another 30 mins.
4. Serve and enjoy!

Not bad eh? It looks burnt but it is very juicy inside. A Must Try!

Cooking Inability

Lately, I have been spending a lot of time in the kitchen. Thank God after so many years of being dependent on my mom. She’s a good cook by the way :D

It’s one hell of a ride before I can be called a Cooking Master (whew!)… Or perhaps I will never be.

Before I learned how to cook, I have my mentors to tell me what to do or else, I might burn our flat down.
The mentors I am referring to are my housemates :D
They let me do the whole thing, preparation - cooking and they give their comments, good or bad afterwards.
Thus, I am giving them all the credit to why I know now how to cook even though I still sometimes not able to perfect a dish. Bad, bad, bad.
Well, according to them, I lack focus. I do not concentrate on what I am doing. But trust me, I am.

I am putting my heart into cooking. That, I am sure of.

Maybe what I need is practice. A lot of practice.

Anyway, here’s what I have prepared for our lunch today. In case you do not know what this dish is… It’s tinola. Well, I hope, it really looks like one.
